"One thing is for sure, I am fearful of my body's physical aging process.  Following two different neck injuries over the past two decades, three pregnancies and a 30 year dental profession which leaves me chronically twisted and out of alignment, my chief complaint is that I suffer severe migraines; often 8 or more each month, for 35 years.  The frequency and intensity has become progressively worse.

It has seemed a daunting, hopeless situation as I have explored various cures, solutions, remedies including but not limited to a multitude of Chiropractors, Doctors, Acupuncturists, Neurologists, and myriad of prescriptions.
 
Determined to resolve this physical ordeal, I finally was introduced to a Physical Therapy group that have helped me in ways none had in the past.  Hurrah!!  I was on the right path.  I have had 60 appointments in the past 8 months and, although my migraines were better controlled, still suffered at least weekly.
 
The moment I did my first "rag doll", I knew I was on to something BIG.  For the first time in all these years, I felt the exact area my migraines come from.  Silly as it may seem, I nearly cried as I felt everything come together and finally make sense. 
 
Today, I practice Heat Yoga five days/week or more.  My Physical Therapist has released me to monthly visits under one condition, that I NOT STOP practicing Heat Yoga.  He feels it is the #1 reason for my success after all this time.  Along with my family, friends, coworkers and anyone involved in my journey this far, I could not agree more.  
 
The heat, the humidity, the instructors, the facility and the overall feeling of accomplishment are what I look forward to. 
 
I have lost 10 lbs in the 3 months I have been practicing.  I stand taller.  My skin is healthier and moisturized (and it is winter) and I feel FANTASTIC. 
I AM different.  I have no fear of a painful future.  Instead, I get to look better, feel better and participate in life rather than spectate."
